Development of a New-Generation, Multilingual and Multi-Standards Cataloguing Tool

This enhanced tool will enable geospatial metadata to be indexed on-line, so it can be searched and retrieved on the Internet. The project will build on an existing tool and will improve its capabilities, particularly its ability to support more than one language and its compatibility with Canadian, United States and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards. The tool will be provided for free to organizations that wish to make data accessible through GeoConnections and the Canadian Geospatial Data Infrastructure.
